Mambo Beach is one of my favorite places to go. You can enjoy the beach in the morning, get a tan, eat, or spend time with your family.
Mambo Beach is divided into different sections, each controlled by different companies. On the far left side, close to the Sea Aquarium, it is managed by Lions Dive Hotel, and on the far right side, it is managed by Cabana. These two sides are more exclusive and more expensive, but you get better service and better chairs.
In the middle, you’ll find the area where most people go both locals and tourists who are not staying at the hotels on Mambo Beach. There, you can enjoy good drinks and food in a more relaxed atmosphere.
The price is 10 XCG (around $5) to rent a chair, and the entrance fee is 6 XCG (around $3) per person. For locals, this can be expensive, so you’ll usually see more tourists than locals.
For food, I recommend the bacon burger at Bonita. It’s delicious. It is expensive around $20 but definitely worth it.
If you’re looking for a date night, I recommend the Hemingway Bar. It’s a nice bar close to the water, perfect for enjoying a drink with your date.
Mood Beach is also a great place to spend the day with your date or simply enjoy the music they have playing.
